MEMORIAL DAY 2018

LINDENS MEMORIAL DAY PARADE AND PICNIC 6

The 70th annual Linden VFW Price Crane Robinsons Post 4642 Memorial Day Services, Parade, and Community Picnic!

The parade steps off at 10:00 AM, starting in front of the VFW Post, where it then proceeds to the Bridge over the Shiawassee River. Services are held there for those who have serves at sea. The parade proceeds down Broad St. to the Veterans Memorial in Fairview Cemetery, where a VFW Memorial Day ritual service will be held.

After the ceremony at the Cemetery, the parade will return to the VFW Post, where the City of Linden hosts a Community Picnic providing hot dogs, chips, pop, water, and ice cream.

Spectators are encouraged to line the parade route with flags, decorate your bikes, strollers, and wagons and join in as we march to the Cemetery for the services.

All current or former military are invited to march as well.

Please remember that the parade is a Solemn Memorial Day function dedicated to Veterans. Political or Personal recognition signage is not allowed.
